Olaf van der Kolk has been the managing director of AquaMinerals since 2016, where he focuses on developing circular value chains for raw materials recovered from drinking water and wastewater treatment. With a background in hydrology and business administration, he connects technology, entrepreneurship, and societal challenges. Olaf works to transform residual streams from the water sector into valuable resources, contributing to the development of a circular economy.
In addition to his role as a director, he is active as a lecturer on circular business models in the water sector and supports startups within the International Water Association that are working on innovations in resource recovery.
