Agustin is a civil engineer with more than 10 years in the water sector. He has a Master’s degree in Water Management from University of Buenos Aires (UBA) where he is assistant professor. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD on universal access in informal settlements in Latin America as part of his doctoral thesis at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
In this field, Agustin worked on the Villa 20 upgrading slum program in Buenos Aires for the housing institute and carried out different consultancies for the Provincial Agency for Socio-Urban Integration, OPISU.
Agustín is actively involved in professional associations. He led the AIDIS Argentina Young Professionals group and is currently a member of the AIDIS board of directors in his country. At IWA, he served on the Young Water Professionals Steering Committee from 2022 to 2024, on the Strategic Council during the same period, and currently participates in the Sanitation and Water Management in Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) Specialist Group. He also serves as vice president of the Young Professionals Committee in Argentina.

Agustín é engenheiro civil e possui Mestrado em Gestão da Agua pela Universidade de Buenos Aires (UBA), onde atualmente é professor assistente. Atualmente, está cursando um Doutorado sobre acesso universal em assentamentos informais na América Latina como parte de sua tese doutoral na Universidade Politécnica de Valência.
Nesse âmbito, Agustín trabalhou no programa de urbanização da Vila 20 em Buenos Aires para o instituto de habitação e realizou diferentes consultorias para o Organismo Provincial de Integração Sociourbana, OPISU.
Agustín participa ativamente de associações profissionais. Ele liderou o grupo de Jovens Profissionais da AIDIS Argentina e atualmente é membro do conselho diretor da AIDIS em seu país. Na IWA, atuou no Comitê Diretivo de Jovens Profissionais da Água de 2022 a 2024, no Conselho Estratégico durante o mesmo período e atualmente participa do Grupo de Especialistas em Saneamento e Gestão de Água em Países de Baixa e Média Renda. Ele também atua como vice-presidente do Comitê de Jovens Profissionais na Argentina.
