Charlotte AKwaah-Adjei is an Environmentalist.
She is a Deputy Director for the Ministry of Local Government Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Environmental Health and Sanitation Directorate.
She holds a Master of Philosophy in Environmental Science from the University of Ghana, a Master of Business Administration from Wrexham University in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science in Environment and Natural Resource Management from Presbyterian University College of Ghana.
She has spent the over two decades working at the local, regional, and national levels in Ghana’s Water and Sanitation Sector and on World Bank, African Development Bank, and European Union-funded development projects.
She is devoted to strengthening institutions and building capacity of WASH Sector professionals and providing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services to the most disadvantaged groups and advocating for policy changes that benefit women, children, and individuals with disabilities.
