Maryann Ramírez, Biochemical Engineer from Pontificie Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Environmental Engineer from U. Santiago de Compostela and MBA from Adolfo Ibañez University. Maryann is currently the Director of “Strategies and New Conservation Models” at The Nature Conservancy in Chile, the world’s largest NGO dedicated to Nature Conservation.
Maryann has 20 years of experience in environmental and conservation issues, previously working at the Pontificie Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chilean Economic Development Agency (CORFO) and Chile Foundation. During these years he has developed projects related to water resources management, Sustainability, protection of areas of high conservation value, conservation planning at the basin scale.
