Jose Luis Inglese

Sanitary engineer from the University of Buenos Aires, awarded the “Ing. Enrique Butty” prize by the National Academy of Engineering for his career in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, with over 40 years of experience in the health and environmental sector, and a Full Member of the National Academy of Engineering of Argentina. He was president of Aguas y Saneamientos Argentinos – AySA, from 2015 to 2019, a company that provides water and sanitation services to more than 14 million people. In his role as an International Consultant, he led more than 800 studies and projects in Latin America and Africa, funded by the IDB, IFC, and World Bank, on topics related to sanitation and the environment. He is a member of the Strategic Council of the International Water Association, the largest international network of professionals related to water and environmental resources, with members from over 140 countries. He was President of AIDIS Argentina and is the President for the November 2022-2024 term of AIDIS – Inter-American Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering. His academic activity also stands out, having been a Postgraduate Professor for over 25 years and participating in Academic Councils of prestigious institutions such as IHE DELFT – Netherlands.
