Civil Engineer from the Federal University of Paraná, with a postgraduate degree in Hydraulic Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, and a specialization in Financial Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). He was President of the Brazilian Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering – ABES – São Paulo Section, in the 2013/15 and 2015/17 bienniums and is currently the national President of ABES. He was President of the 29th ABES Congress. He was a member of the Thematic Commission of the 2018 World Water Forum held in Brazil. He was President, representing ABES, of the Advisory Council of Arsesp, the São Paulo agency for sanitation services regulation.
He is the Managing Director of COBRAPE – Companhia Brasileira de Projetos e Empreendimentos.
