A civil engineer graduated from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), Alessandra holds postgraduate degrees in Environmental Management in Municipalities (UFJF) and in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering (UFRJ), along with an MBA in Planning, Budgeting, and Public Management (FGV). She has been a Specialist in Water Resources Regulation and Basic Sanitation at the National Water Agency (ANA) since 2004 and currently serves as the Coordinator of Articulation for the Management of Critical Events in the Superintendence of Operations and Critical Events (COART/SOE). She is responsible for two programs related to the management of risks from critical hydrological events on a national scale (in coordination with the states): Situation Rooms and Drought Monitor.
