He is the Research and Innovation Manager at the Sanitation Company of Paraná (Sanepar). Ph.D. and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Informatics from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), with specialization in Engineering Photonics and Automation in Oil and Natural Gas Processes. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on Electronics and Telecommunications, from UTFPR; and in Environmental Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná. He has been working in the environmental sanitation sector for over 13 years. He develops projects focused on innovation for sustainability, with emphasis on bioenergy, energy efficiency, and resource recovery. He also works in the areas of instrumentation, metrology, and quantitative methods. He is the author of more than 250 technical-scientific publications. He has experience in conducting multifunctional and collaborative technical work in national and international networks. He is the Coordinator of the Sewage Treatment Technical Chamber of the Brazilian Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering (ABES) and a director of ABES-Paraná. He is a member of the Waste-to-Energy Research and Technology Council (WtERT) – Brazil and the International Water Association (IWA). He is a member of the Technical Innovation Chamber of the Brazilian Association of State Sanitation Companies (AESBE).
