Industrial Chemist from the Superior School of Chemistry at Oswaldo Cruz Colleges and Post-Graduated in Strategic Communication from USP. He has solid experience in the Social and Environmental areas, having also been responsible for strategic areas such as Institutional Relations and Communication. He worked for almost 20 years in the Chemical and Petrochemical sectors. For 11 years he was President of the Trata Brasil Institute where he helped to make the entity a national reference, coordinating dozens of studies, research, and actions aimed at mobilizing society for the expansion of basic sanitation in the country. While leading Trata Brasil, Édison won the “FAZ DIFERENÇA – Personalities 2012” award from O Globo newspaper – “Revista Amanhã” category, as the person who stood out the most in the Sustainability area in Brazil. He is currently the President of the Aegea Institute, being responsible for planning and developing the company’s Sustainability and Social Responsibility actions in Brazil.
